Preparation for CNY 2010

This weekend saw many visits to flower shops and wet markets in preparation for CNY 2010. My GrantAunt could not keep her eyes off a faux lotus arrangement at the artificial flowers shop, so instead of benefiting the retailers, I came up with my own arrangement instead at a fraction of the price, complete with lotus pods, specially for her.

Gift Done Up for a Friend's Performance

As requested by a friend, flowers and chocolates were packaged as a gift for their ballet teacher to thank her for her guidance thus far.

Pre-Christmas Party Treats

Mum had a church pre-christmas party. Potato salad with Banana and Oatmeal muffins were whipped up to add to the festivities.
